If you are staying in the Bavaro area with your family, and your kids want to swim with dolphins, the Dolphin Encounter is your best option. All children, no matter their age, can do the Dolphin Encounter without any problem.

This experience lasts 40 minutes, full of different activities that anyone in the family will enjoy. The first is the hand lens; smile for the picture and strike your best pose. Then you will do the handshake; in this, you and the dolphins will dance to the rhythm of the Caribbean.

► Safety vests are required for all water programs.

  • ✘ For safety reasons, no cameras are allowed in the water, professional photos will be available for sale.
  • ✘ For safety reasons, pregnant women (5 months and older) are not allowed to participate in any of our water programs (Women less than 5 months pregnant can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a Responsibility Form).
  • It is important to arrive 30 minutes before your program, remember that you will receive a short briefing before swimming.
  • Remember to use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin, the environment and marine species.

► If you have any health condition or physical disability, please contact our call center before making your reservation so that we can provide you with complete information about our services.

 

  • Do not include babies under 3.3 feet in your reservation, as they are free; however, be sure to add them in the comments section of your reservation.
  • There is a $25 USD admission fee per companion that includes transportation, use of the facilities and access to Pirate Island. If you choose to transport yourself to the facility, you still have to pay the admission fee.
  • Children over 4.6 feet may participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate.
  • Children over 3.9 feet up to 4.6 feet may participate alone in the Encounter program. Children over 3.3 feet and up to 3.9 feet may participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per child).
  • Children under 3.3 feet will be considered infants and will participate in Encounter activities regardless of the program they participate in (it is a requirement that they fit the BCD).

 

  • At Ocean Adventures Punta Cana groups have a maximum of 15 people for a closer experience.
